Nagwa, a good friend who owns and runs the Wedding Gallery in St. Charles, will be holding a special event in a few weeks to benefit military brides. I’m honored to be a part of this wonderful cause and encourage anyone who knows any military brides to check it out. It’s happening across 22 states, and all details can be found at www.BridesAcrossAmerica.com. Here’s the official press release for Nagwa’s event.
On November 10th and 11th, the Wedding Gallery bridal shop in St. Charles will donate 100 wedding gowns to eligible military brides-to-be during the Nationwide Military 2010 Wedding Gown Giveaway Event. The gowns range in price from $500 to $3000 and are given away on a first-come, first served basis.
“We’re very excited to be a part of this wonderful cause,” Wedding Gallery owner Nagwa said. “Military personnel selflessly give so much for the safety and service to this country. If we can help give them or their brides-to-be the gown they want but may not have otherwise gotten, we’re thrilled to do so.”
In addition to a free gown, recipients will also receive a free bridal glamor portrait and print from Patrick Pope Photography. Full qualification requirements can be found at www.BridesAcrossAmerica.com, or by calling the Wedding Gallery at 636-724-7038.
The event is sponsored by Brides Across America, a non-profit organization started in 2007 by Heidi Janson as a way to provide gowns to active duty military brides. A nationwide event spanning 22 states, Wedding Gallery is the only bridal shop participating in the state of Missouri.
