A Wedding At Hermann Hill With Kim and Erin

Blog_Header

January weddings are always interesting. You just never know what you’ll get with regard to the weather. It could be bitterly cold and snowy, or it could be like the exceptional day Kim and Erin had with sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s. With a beautiful venue like Hermann Hill set high on the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River, you really want to get outside a bit, so it worked out perfectly!

I really enjoyed the cast of characters that I had the opportunity to work with. I’m all about having fun. Clearly so are Kim, Erin, and the rest of the group.

Before the ceremony we drove the three minutes into Hermann to do a few photos by the old firehouse. It was quite a challenge as Erin didn’t want to actually see Kim until she walked down the aisle. We had a lot of “okay, look the other way” moments, but we also had a good time and got some great photos.

I think my favorite part of the day was at the reception when Erin serenaded his new bride. Honestly, I’m a pretty sentimental guy and I really get a kick out of that sort of thing.

Here’s a few of my favorite moments from the day:
