A couple years ago I had a wonderful day photographing Ryan and Brittany’s wedding at the Daniel Boon Peace Chapel. One of the photos has become something of a signature image for me and generates a lot of interest.
I thought it would be a good opportunity to take a look back at that day and revisit some of the photos from the chapel. With an on-again-off-again rain we weren’t blessed with the best weather, but Ryan and Brittany didn’t let it spoil their day one bit.
This is actually an infrared photo taken with a specially modified camera. Notice the bright white leaves and grass? Infrared creates a very unique look, but works best when there’s direct sun and a lot of light. We had all of ten seconds of sunshine all day… and there it is! Luck favors the prepared.
