I’m constantly looking for ways to tell the story in unexpected ways. Often I can frame a scene in a way that offers a touch of graphic interest.
Here I was fortunate that a well placed mirror provided a fantastic little “window” into Anna’s preparation time. The wall gives us a lot of great negative space, but the textured wallpaper offers a touch of visual interest and helps to keep it from looking too plain.
As always, not posed or set up in any way. Anna went about her business as though there wasn’t a camera in the room at all.
