Moments like these are what weddings are made of. They’re quiet but memorable and full of emotion.
Beyond the emotions at play, the mirror image adds depth to the scene as a secondary point of interest. Depth both because of the near-far aspect, but also because of that second point of notice that we only see after we’ve taken in the primary action. It adds a richness to the composition that is sometimes hard to appreciate from a quick, casual glance. The longer you look, the more you see.
Ultimately, I mostly love the interaction going on, the expressions, and the emotion. To me, this is the kind of photo that truly captures the soul of the wedding day.
