As was the case with a lot of St. Louis weddings this winter, there was fresh snow on the ground for Zach and Caitlin’s wedding. It made for a very pretty, if somewhat cold, scene. It didn’t take long to get warm, though, as I’m pretty much on the move every minute of the day.
St. Francis Xavier is a beautiful location. In fact, this is the second time this year already that I’ve photographed a wedding there, so I know my way around it pretty well. It’s a location that offers great opportunity as well as extreme challenges of time and low light, but I find it’s the extremes that create dynamic images. The reception was at Neo’s which offers stunning views of the city while Ces and Judy’s (one of my favorite caterers) catered the event. Good stuff!
